Average: 27.4/40 or 68.5% (to be adjusted)

If you have any issues about marking, please write up your queries on the front or back of the exam booklet. Clearly mark issues with a different coloured pen than used to write the examination. Deadline to hand queries in: Fri. Oct. 30, 2015.

A committee of markers will meet the following week to review all mark changes.

Mid-term #1 Updates & Information

Mid-term #1 will take place during class time (12:30-1:25 pm) on Wed. Oct. 21, 2015 in:

CHN 133 (primary location) - LAST NAME STARTS WITH: F-Z
Dillon Hall 355 (secondary location) - LAST NAME STARTS WITH: A-E

There are two classrooms, please show up to the appropriate classroom as described above.

All materials covered between Sep. 9 - Oct. 9 should be considered for this exam. Focus on assigned problems and in-class exercises, as well as the key derivations.

Downloads:

There are lots of additional downloads and questions/solutions on the Downloads page.

Bring:
  • Bring a scientific calculator
  • Bring black or blue pens
  • Bring student ID

No:
  • Pencils (exams will not be remarked in the event of marking errors)
  • Red pens
  • Whiteout
  • Cell phones/pagers/PDAs (must be in Airplane mode)
  • Cheating
